Lying barbell pullover (straight-arm)

Chest

How to do it

  1. Lie on your back on a bench with your feet on the floor, head at the end of the bench.
  2. Grip the bar overhand slightly wider than shoulder-width and press it up with straight arms above your chest.
  3. Without bending your elbows, lower the bar in a wide arc behind your head.
  4. At the bottom, feel the stretch in your chest and lats while keeping control of the bar.
  5. Reverse the same arc to raise the bar back above your chest with straight arms.
  6. Repeat for the desired number of reps.
